Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

The part-time Barista/Sales Associate reports directly to the Beautique & Books Manager at the Corsicana location. This position will be responsible for the "Proudly Serves Starbucks" counter and will also help oversee the Beautique.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for opening and closing the store. Responsible for making quality Starbucks drinks. Greet and check out customers. Answer phones and assist with curbside service. Assist customers in finding items in the store. Assist with deliveries. Tag merchandise. Clean, organize and size clothes racks and stock shelves. Change out displays. Mop sales floor. Restock and keep the restrooms clean. Take out trash. Work special events like graduation, football games, community and other outside events. Prepare and work inventories.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be customer service oriented. Must be friendly and have good people skills. Ability to multi-task. Basic math skills. Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

Previous retail experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Busy working environment with numerous interruptions. Standing for extended periods of time.

SALARY:

$12. per hour / up to 19 hours per week.
