This role supports team leadership, productivity, and execution of company standards during non-business hours. Key Responsibilities Overnight Operations Supervise all night crew activities including stocking, facing, and conditioning the store Ensure shelves are fully stocked, properly rotated, and ready for customers at opening Coordinate workload to maximize efficiency and meet overnight productivity goals Verify completion of all assigned tasks prior to store opening Leadership & Team Management Provide direction, coaching, and support to night crew associates Assist with training new hires on stocking standards, safety, and procedures Monitor team performance and address productivity or attendance concerns Act as the lead on shift in the absence of store or department management Merchandising & Store Standards Ensure compliance with planograms, product placement, and promotional displays Maintain clean, organized aisles, backrooms, and receiving areas Ensure accurate shelf tags, signage, and pricing Inventory & Freight Handling Oversee unloading of deliveries and proper storage of product Ensure efficient breakdown and distribution of freight to the sales floor Monitor backstock organization and minimize overstock conditions Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety policies, including proper lifting, equipment use, and hazard prevention Maintain a safe work environment free of obstructions or unsafe conditions Follow company policies and procedures at all times Qualifications Previous grocery or retail stocking experience preferred Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, overnight environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion Ability to work overnight shifts and adjust to a non-traditional schedule Work Environment Overnight retail setting with limited customer interaction Fast-paced, physically demanding environment Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay
