Position Summary The Department Float supports daily operations across multiple departments as required. This role ensures smooth store functionality by stepping in where needed, maintaining product quality standards, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and passionate about natural foods. Key Responsibilities Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers with product questions, store navigation, and recommendations.
• Maintain a friendly, solution-focused attitude, even during busy periods. Department Support
• Rotate between departments as scheduled or assigned to meet daily operational needs.
• Stock shelves, rotate inventory (FIFO), and ensure products meet freshness and quality standards.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in each department, including displays, back stock, and equipment. Store Operations
• Operate POS systems when supporting front-end operations.
• Assist with merchandising, labeling, signage, and resets.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and store policies.
• Communicate effectively with department leads and store management about needs or concerns. Qualifications
• Previous grocery or retail experience preferred; natural foods experience a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in multiple departments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
