JOB SUMMARY

Efficiently sort textile donations while maintaining quality standards and supporting Love, Inc.'s mission. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and donation types. Collaborate effectively with coworkers and volunteers, and cross-train in other areas fo the organization as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sort textiles quickly and accurately for current and seasonal sales Hang & fold clothing and linens according to established standards (e.g. 5 racks per 8 hours) Identify and prepare items for organizational events or special projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support donation stewardship and uphold quality and efficiency standards Assist in other departments or tasks as assigned

Work Environment Conditions:

Work is performed in a warehouse environment that is not air conditioned. In this role, you can expect to work around dust, pet hair, and fabric fibers due to handling donated textiles. PPE is available. The position requires frequent standing, walking, and bending.

QUALIFICATIONS

Self-motivated and ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift. Ability to operate and handle a pallet jack around the warehouse. Ability to adapt and have a willingness to learn other areas of the organization. Commitment to Love, Inc.'s values of compassion, integrity and teamwork.

$12.00 - $12.50 per hour
