Equity, Wisconsin's largest livestock marketing cooperative, is also one of the nation's largest livestock marketing organizations. Service to its members is a primary obligation of all employees.

Essential Functions:

Adhere to Equity's Livestock Handling Policies and Guidelines Assist with training of new yard employees Dock-In work Pre-Sale Grading Sale Ring Work Penner/Chaser Load-Out Work Health Testing Ensure livestock has access to feed and water as required by policy Report problems/broken or damaged equipment to Yard Supervisor or Management Clean pens, alleyways, unloading, and loading areas as required by supervisor Provide excellent customer service to all patrons Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience with livestock handling is ideal. Additional training is provided for animal handling, livestock behavior and basic operations in the areas of livestock Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to last-minute changes Standing and walking frequently (over 80%) Ability to lift over 50lbs To apply for this position stop in to the market and fill out an application!
