Job Overview As a Produce Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the freshness and quality of our produce section. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for stocking, packaging, and maintaining the produce inventory while ensuring a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities Stock and display fresh produce in accordance with company standards. Package fruits and vegetables for sale, ensuring proper labeling and pricing. Load and unload deliveries, checking for quality and freshness of products. Assist customers with inquiries regarding produce selection and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain cleanliness in the produce area, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management tasks. Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely when necessary (training provided). Perform basic retail math to ensure accurate pricing and stock levels. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus to enhance customer communication. Familiarity with inventory management practices is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving products up to 50 pounds. Attention to detail in packaging and stocking produce items.
