  • Overview
  • The RFID Lab at Auburn University is looking for motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented employee from various disciplines to perform RFID in-store testing and audits.
This position will primarily involve fieldwork at partner locations.
Fieldwork includes activities such as:
RFID tag audits, barcode audits, RFID cycle count

  • Responsibilities
  • The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments.
  • RFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with a RFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags.
  • Perform in-store barcode/inventory audits.
  • May occasionally participate in in-lab demonstrations and testing
  • Perform data collection and data analysis to investigate the performance of large scale RFID deployments.
  • Operate, maintain and trouble-shoot RF test equipment.
  • Occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Auburn area
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Preferred experience with RF equipment
  • Preferred experience in a retail environment
  • Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
