VP of Production Position Summary In this role, you will support the technical design and product development process across apparel styles. Responsibilities may include assisting with fit evaluations, reviewing measurements and construction details, preparing and maintaining technical documentation (including tech packs and PLM data), coordinating sample tracking, and supporting communication with cross-functional teams and vendors. Duties may change based on business needs. Work Environment Cross-functional, fast-paced, and production-focused Hands-on involvement throughout the product lifecycle Key Responsibilities Fit & Construction Support Assist in fit sessions by measuring garments, taking detailed notes, and documenting fit comments Execute fit updates and pattern correction requests as directed Review samples for basic fit, construction, and quality alignment Support maintenance of fit standards, blocks, and size consistency across categories Technical Documentation Create and update tech packs, measurement charts, and construction details under supervision Maintain accurate and organized spec sheets throughout development Assist with grading reviews to ensure size accuracy and consistency Vendor & Cross-Functional Communication Communicate technical comments, measurements, and approvals to vendors as directed Follow up on sample revisions and development timelines Partner with design and development teams to support technical execution of design intent Quality & Production Support Assist with pre-production and production sample reviews (PP, TOP, etc.) Help identify and escalate fit or quality issues during development and production Support adherence to brand quality standards and technical guidelines Process & Standards Maintain organized fit logs, sample tracking, and approval records Support updates to technical processes, fit libraries, and best practices Assist in improving efficiency and accuracy within the technical design workflow Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Foundational understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fit principles Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with ERP systems preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines Clear written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills & Traits Strong interest in developing a technical design career Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven Receptive to feedback and eager to learn Collaborative, reliable, and proactive DG Brands, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pay:
