Job Overview -
Sales Data Analyst Compensation:
$35 - $40/hour (Dependent on Experience)
Location:
Stamford, CT Schedule:
Monday to Friday (In-Office) Atlantic Group is hiring a Sales Data Analyst in Stamford, CT for our client, supporting sales performance analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven reporting. The Sales Data Analyst will analyze key performance indicators, develop dashboards and reporting solutions, and translate complex sales data into actionable business insights. This temporary opportunity is ideal for an analytical professional with strong SQL, Excel, business intelligence, and sales reporting experience. Responsibilities as the
Sales Data Analyst:
Sales Analytics:
Analyze sales performance across teams, territories, products, and customer segments to identify trends and business opportunities.
Performance Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators and evaluate leading and lagging metrics to support sales effectiveness and revenue performance.
Dashboard Development:
Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reporting solutions for sales leadership and executive stakeholders.
Business Insights:
Conduct ad hoc and in-depth analyses and translate complex datasets into clear findings and actionable recommendations.
Data Management:
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity across sales reporting, business metrics, and KPI definitions.
Process Improvement:
Improve reporting automation, analytical models, and business intelligence processes to increase efficiency and scalability. Qualifications for the
Sales Data Analyst:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field is required.
Experience:
3+ years of sales analytics, business analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or related analytical experience is required.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience analyzing sales performance, KPIs, trends, and business metrics is required, with B2B sales analytics experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel skills are required, along with experience using Power BI or Tableau and Salesforce, with reporting automation, data modeling, and Python experience preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and data visualization skills are required, including experience developing executive-level reporting and presentations.
