EcoChem is a manufacturer of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) used to report stack emissions for EPA compliance. We are a very dedicated team with an incredible work ethic and are committed to serving our customers. We employ people who are self-motivated and who are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. We are looking for a CEMS Engineering Technician in the Northeast US to service our equipment. The job will require ~60% travel, mostly in the Northeast with occasional work in other locations. Below is a summary of the tasks:- Perform periodic maintenance on analytical systems at various power plants, chemical plants and incinerators.
- Perform EPA required testing including Cylinder Gas Audits and support for Relative Accuracy Audit Testing.
- Interface with customers; provide training and documentation of service related activities.
- Maintain, repair, install and troubleshoot analytical systems.
- Must abide by all HS&E guidelines. Random and periodic drug and alcohol testing is required.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds. Must be able to work on elevated platforms.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by company insurance carrier. Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's in a technical discipline.
- Three years of continuous experience in a technical capacity.
- Willing and able to travel as described above. Most work is during the week; however, there will be some weekend calls.
- Ability to troubleshoot systems.
- Electrical familiarity including the use of a voltmeter.
- Strong computer skills are preferred including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- PLC and logic capabilities are a plus.
