$25/HR Responsibilities Develop experimental designs and work plans to create prototype products that meet desired performance metrics. Review experimental data, provide preliminary interpretation, draw conclusions, and recommend next steps and development strategies. Work closely with packaging, process development, and manufacturing teams throughout product development and commercialization. Record detailed observations and experimental data. Maintain accurate and current laboratory notebook records as a working legal document. Plan and schedule project tasks related to laboratory experiments, third-party testing, and consumer trials. Report project status, progress, and issues to team members and management in a timely manner. Contribute to the resolution of assigned problems through the development and modification of test procedures. Conduct standard and non-standard chemical, physical, and application testing to generate data used to evaluate product composition and performance, including competitive offerings. Assist department staff with laboratory demonstrations for training programs and customer visits. Monitor and maintain inventories of raw materials, supplies, and laboratory materials. Maintain clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspaces and ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated. Follow all applicable Federal, State, and Local health, safety, and environmental regulations and corporate health, safety, and environmental policies. Handle laboratory equipment and hazardous chemicals safely and maintain a strong awareness of potential workplace hazards. Qualifications Four-year college degree in Chemistry or an Associate's Degree combined with relevant industrial experience required. Relevant formulation experience in consumer packaged goods will be considered. Advanced knowledge of detergent chemistry is a plus. Ability to understand and perform standard methods relevant to product development. Experience conducting a variety of research experiments and tests, including setting up and operating laboratory apparatus and equipment. Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams and interact with consumers and third parties. www.onboardusa.com Apply Today!
