Job Description

Laboratory Technician Position Summary & Responsibilities Position Overview This position is primarily for processing formulations to meet and exceed client needs. Technician will be responsible for performing physical property testing and analytical testing. Constantly increasing knowledge of raw materials and formulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs raw material, in-process and release testing using a variety of analytical techniques (FTIR, HPLC, GC, titrations, viscosity analysis, etc.) Perform verifications and Review By as needed Support laboratory management in OOS investigations. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Work on non-routine projects as directed. Maintain laboratory in a clean, CGMP compliant state Clean glassware, dispose of waste, inventory chemicals, and perform other housekeeping duties Adhere to testing and projects deadlines as assigned by R&D management Operate, maintain, and clean laboratory equipment Maintain laboratory inventory for current and future projects Handle hazardous materials and chemicals in a safe manner according to laboratory procedure Required Skills and Experience Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Effective verbal, written communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, prioritizing and follow-up skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Good computer skills. proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Must have exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to apply basic statistics and compare data trends Preferred Experience Experience working in an FDA regulated laboratory. Experience in working in R&D lab or Quality lab environment

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
