Position Summary Supports DSCC's mission by developing and maintaining enterprise analytics and data engineering solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights. The role enhances existing BI assets—including Power BI reports, semantic models, and automated refresh processes—while building scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.

This position leverages modern cloud and big data technologies such as Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Python, SQL, and Apache Spark to ingest, process, and analyze large and diverse datasets. Responsibilities include designing ETL/ELT workflows, optimizing data models, and supporting lakehouse architecture for reporting and advanced analytics. Working with DSCC business units and the PMO, the role applies statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and automation to identify trends and deliver predictive insights. The position also supports DSCC's Reporting and Data Governance Framework. Duties & Responsibilities Design, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models to deliver accurate and actionable insights for DSCC leadership and operational teams. Design and implement enterprise reporting and analytics solutions that support operational monitoring, strategic planning, and data-driven decision making across DSCC programs. Develop and maintain scalable cloud-based data architectures including data lake and lakehouse environments to support enterprise analytics and large-scale data integration. Design and manage automated data pipelines and transformation workflows using modern data engineering practices to ingest, process, and prepare large datasets for analytics and reporting. Work closely with DSCC business units and the PMO to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, SSIS packages, and ensure analytics solutions align with organizational priorities. Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases and query performance to support reliable and efficient analytics workloads Develop and maintain enterprise data models, semantic layers, and optimized data structures to support reporting, advanced analytics, and scalable data access. Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques using tools such as Python or Spark ML to identify patterns, trends, and predictive insights where appropriate. Ensure compliance with DSCC data governance policies, HIPAA regulations, and PHI protection standards while maintaining strong data quality and lineage practices. Provide training and technical guidance to staff on Power BI, data access tools, and self-service analytics capabilities Participate in cross-functional teams to support DSCC's quality improvement and operational initiatives to improve data processes, automation, and enterprise analytics capabilities. Strong orientation toward customer service, data accuracy, and clear communication with non‑technical users. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor Degree within Computer Science or closely related field of study. Minimum of five year's professional level IT experience within BI Data Analytics & Integration which includes demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and supporting application interfaces, as well as developing, modifying, distributing, and testing reports, metrics, dashboards, and self-service reporting capabilities in the business intelligence suite of tools and applications. Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence/reporting roles. Knowledge

• Expert level proficiency in Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, Data Science/big data concepts, and ETL development; data engineering, cloud data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric), understanding of healthcare data and PHI compliance. Skills
• Data visualization, SQL query writing, ETL Data Pipeline Development and management (Python, SQL, Spark,), Power BI development, and report documentation. Abilities
• Ability to collaborate with project managers and business analysts, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and work with care coordination teams.
