Base salary + commission About the Role FNI is hiring a mid-level MSP Sales Representative to grow core MSSP Services. This role is best suited for a salesperson with 5+ years of experience selling technology, managed services, or cybersecurity solutions who already knows how to run a full sales cycle, manage a pipeline, and close recurring-revenue contracts. You'll prospect and develop your own opportunities, lead discovery conversations to uncover client needs, and work with our engineering and delivery teams to scope solutions that fit each client's environment and risk profile. This is not an entry-level role — we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and build a book of business from day one. What You'll Be Selling Managed IT and Managed Security Services (MSP/MSSP) Cloud hosting, backup, and business continuity solutions Cybersecurity services, including endpoint protection and monitoring Compliance-adjacent offerings (CMMC/NIST readiness support) Network penetration testing and vulnerability assessments Recurring managed services agreements and long-term contracts Key Responsibilities Manage a full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal and close Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking Conduct discovery calls to understand client IT environments, pain points, and goals Partner with leadership and delivery teams to scope right-sized solutions for each client Identify penetration testing and vulnerability assessment opportunities within existing and prospective accounts, and coordinate scoping with technical/delivery teams Build and maintain a healthy, accurately forecasted pipeline in the CRM Deliver pricing and contract terms in line with company guidelines Maintain strong client relationships post-sale Stay current on
MSP/MSSP
industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging compliance requirements Qualifications 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in
MSP, MSSP, IT
services, or SaaS Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas Comfortable managing a consultative, multi-stakeholder sales process Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Self-starter who is comfortable with both inbound follow-up and outbound prospecting Preferred (Not Required) Prior experience selling into regulated industries (manufacturing, defense/DoD supply chain, healthcare, finance) Exposure to compliance frameworks such as
CIS, CMMC, NIST
