Job Summary•Georgica Auto Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Technologist to support our automotive operations through the application of advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving. This role is crucial for optimizing our systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and contributing to innovative solutions. Job Responsibilities•Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to automotive systems, equipment, and software. Conduct regular maintenance, calibration, and repair of specialized machinery and diagnostic tools. Develop and implement technical procedures and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness and safety. Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing processes. Perform data analysis and generate reports to identify trends, predict potential issues, and recommend solutions. Provide technical training and support to other team members on new equipment, software, or procedures. Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to the automotive industry. Maintain accurate records of all technical work performed, including repairs, installations, and calibrations. Job Qualifications•Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technologist, technician, or similar technical role within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting and analysis. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems systematically and efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with various teams and documenting technical processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, industry-specific technical certifications) are a plus. Experience with PLC programming, automation, or robotics is highly desirable.
