Job Description
ECHO Incorporated is an industry leader in developing and manufacturing high-performance, professional-grade, handheld outdoor power equipment. ECHO is looking to add a strategic Sales Data Analyst who is well-versed in forecasting, modeling, and turning data into actionable insights! We need a curious and proactive thinker who doesn't wait for direction, but actively explores our sales channels to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and challenge assumptions. This role will keep our sales team ahead of the curve by delivering clear, data-driven recommendations that drive smarter decisions and accelerate growth. The salary range for this position is $90,000
- 100,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Proactively identify trends and opportunities- Analyze customer behavior, channel performance, and market dynamics to surface insights that drive sales growth without waiting for direction. Turn data into strategy, not just reports
- Evaluate promotions, pricing, and advertising performance; recommend specific actions to improve ROI and sales outcomes. Own sales performance visibility
- Build and maintain dashboards (Tableau) and reporting frameworks that clearly communicate what's working, what's not, and what to do next. Design and manage compensation models
- Develop, administer, and continuously improve incentive plans that align with business objectives; ensure accurate and timely payouts. Optimize territories and channel structure
- Support territory modeling and segmentation efforts to improve coverage, efficiency, and growth potential. Act as a thought partner to sales leadership
- Go beyond answering questions, bring forward insights, challenge assumptions, and influence strategic decisions. Ensure data integrity and trust
- Reconcile and validate data across systems to maintain accuracy and credibility in all reporting. Deliver clear, compelling insights
- Translate complex data into executive-ready presentations and narratives for internal stakeholders and strategic partners.
Job Experience/Skills:
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. 3-7+ years of experience in sales analytics, sales operations, or business analysis within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Proficient in MS Office with solid skills in PowerPoint and Word. Expert-level competency in Excel required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and performance drivers. Experience with compensation modeling and territory planning preferred. Ability to connect data to business outcomes. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders.Education:
