Job Title:

Technology Assistant•summer hire Reports to: Technology Director Dept./

School:

Technology Exemption Status/Test:

Nonexempt Primary Purpose:

Assists the technology department in various technology-related duties, including but not limited to infrastructure cabling, repairing devices, installing switches, and setting up workstations.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

No specific level of education required (Must be 16 yrs of age or older)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

General knowledge of computer hardware and networking

Experience:

Experience working with technology devices

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Installing computer hardware and printers. Assist with inventory and confirming workstation setups are correct. Installing switches, UPS's, and Infrastructure cabling. Assist with installing and infrastructure cabling for access control and cameras. Other technology-related duties as assigned.
