Responsibilities Participate in the creation of the sales department's operational plans. Manage all phases of the sales process from start to close. Analyze markets and create appropriate sales management strategies. Develop sales forecasts. Provide support in collections. Develop commercial varieties. Meet and/or exceed established objectives. Provide technical support at the Culiacán Technology Center. Support other regions in hosting conferences. Follow up with the client portfolio and seek new prospects. Maintain cordial, harmonious, and professional relationships with clients. Monitor the market for different seed varieties to propose attractive offers to clients. Support the harvest area when necessary. Follow up on customer complaints regarding the quality of Ahern's marketed products. Assist the Business Unit Manager in preparing the operating budget for expenses and sales. Support the opening of new markets for seed sales. Recommend the introduction of new varieties. Provide support as an interviewer filter when a vacancy arises. Promote Ahern's market positioning with new products. Build and maintain business relationships with suppliers and clients. Drive sales in the region to meet established objectives. Provide the Business Unit Manager with all information related to sales projections and seed requirements. Increase the client base. Participate in monitoring and evaluating new genetics that could be introduced to the market. Monitor the market for different seed varieties to propose attractive offers to clients. Follow up on customer complaints regarding product quality. Support decision-making in the introduction of new varieties. Evaluate new genetics. Stay up to date on market trends to report potential changes to the Business Unit Manager. Ensure confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, maintain ethical conduct, disclose related parties, etc. Any other related activity, task, or complementary duty that ensures the proper fulfillment of the role and does not interfere with colleagues or superiors.
Experience Education:
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional Experience:
Previous role as a Sales Representative Experience in marketing horticultural seeds Experience in seed product development Budget management and control Understanding of product positioning against competitors Ability to identify and recruit successful sales representatives Five to seven years of relevant experience in international sales management of horticultural seeds (direct sales to growers)
Technical Skills:
