Sales Rep - Automation Lufkin US Acquisition Company LLC Odessa, TX Job Details 11 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Word embeddings Sales management systems proficiency CRM system proficiency Productivity software Sales automation technologies Experience with customer site (as sales environment) Full Job Description The Sales Rep, located in Odessa, TX, will report directly to the Permian Sales Manager and will be working from the office and home when not at customer sites. The position is responsible for long term profitable growth in the Permian Basin. The successful candidate will also ensure Lufkin's automation products and services are well positioned to win in the marketplace, considering current and future market conditions. This team member will gain business by building strong relationships through technical knowledge, integrity, customer service and product reliability. They will communicate Lufkin's value propositions, complete, and shorten sales cycles and deliver the products/services to meet those needs and achieving goals as outlined by the sales plan. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Understanding customers' and market segment needs Understanding industry trends, market dynamics and standards/regulatory developments Understanding competitive landscape and maintain competitive and industry analysis Developing and executing product line strategies Influencing customer product requirements that influence tender specifications Writing proposals in response to customer needs, RFQs and RFPs Informal quotes while communicating our technical knowledge and value proposition Developing new products and service proposals and business cases to enhance our automation portfolio Participating in bidding strategy for key opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills Strong technical background A self-starter with a strong drive Ability to work well under pressure Embrace teamwork and team selling Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Willingness to travel up to 30% to visit customers in remote locations as needed Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Proficiency using Salesforce or other CRM Business, Engineering or Technical degree preferred with10-15 years of industry experience. Production-related experience is an asset Experience Preferred 10 - 15 years: Industry experience (Automation, Oil & Gas, Production) Salesforce or other CRM.
