Job Description

Bilingual Admissions Advisor (Part-Time) - English/Spanish Skylar Modeling New York, NY Job Details Part-time $30 - $46 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Gym membership Qualifications Achieving large sales Deal closing Spanish English High-end sales Beauty & cosmetics sales Closing sales leads Email outreach prospecting Full Job Description Our top advisor closes eight enrollments a month working two days a week. She covers Wednesday afternoons and Fridays. We need someone just as good on the other three.
Schedule:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings. 10-16 hours per week, on-site at 89 5th Avenue, Union Square.
Pay:
$20/hour base, paid regardless of what you close, plus commission starting at 2.5% of each enrollment and rising to 4% once you are consistent. On target that is about $36/hour all-in. Our current top advisor is at $46/hour.
ABOUT SKYLAR MODELING
We are a modeling school and mother agency in Union Square. We train aspiring models through a structured development program, then represent the ones who are ready. Our program costs $3,190, which is a serious decision for a young person and their family. Most of the people who apply to us speak Spanish at home, and that is why this role exists.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You are not cold calling. Appointments are booked for you off our advertising. Your job is the conversation that follows: understand what the person actually wants, tell them honestly whether we can get them there, walk the family through the investment, and close the ones who are a fit. Twelve months in, you will own three days of our appointment calendar and a close rate we can build the schedule around.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Run 6-10 booked consultations a week with prospective students and their parents, in English and Spanish. Handle price and timing objections directly, on the phone and in the room. Walk families through program cost and payment options with complete clarity. Follow up on every open conversation until you get a yes or a no. Log every appointment outcome so your close rate is visible weekly.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
Fully fluent in Spanish and English. You can hold your ground on price in both. You have closed a product or service over $1,000 to consumers, not businesses. You have worked somewhere your pay depended on your close rate. Available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings, on-site in Union Square. Authorized to work in the US.
Preferred:
Admissions or enrollment experience at a trade, beauty, medical or career school.
High-ticket consumer closing background:
med-spa or aesthetics consultations, gym memberships, timeshare or vacation clubs, furniture, jewelry, solar. You have sold to a young person and their parent in the same conversation. You like being measured and want to see your numbers.
BEING STRAIGHT WITH YOU ABOUT THE HARD PARTS
Some of the people you meet will not make it as models, and you will have to say so kindly. Families will push back on the price, every week. Not every booked appointment shows up. And this is part-time. If you need a full-time paycheck, this is not the right seat.
HOW TO APPLY
Apply through this posting and answer the screening questions. We reply to everyone within a week.
Pay:
$30.00 - $46.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 16.0 per week Application Question(s): This job pays a $20/hr base plus commission. Can you commit to those exact days every week? What is the largest single sale you have personally closed with a consumer (not a business)? Give the dollar amount and what it was. Then tell us about a time someone said your price was too high and you closed them anyway - what did you actually say to them?
