Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and assist with menu selections through upselling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food prep area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing excellent customer service. Restock ingredients and supplies promptly to keep the station organized and fully equipped for service periods. Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring a smooth flow during busy hours. Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for guests. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting (up to 25 pounds), and reaching. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper kitchen practices. Experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable; familiarity with grocery store operations or café environments can be advantageous.
