Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience. Responsibilities Assist in the overall management of the restaurant, including daily operations and staff supervision Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards Manage inventory control and assist with ordering supplies as needed Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction processing Train and develop staff in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members Monitor performance metrics and assist with budgeting to achieve financial goals Provide leadership and support to team members to foster a positive work environment Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service Skills Strong background in food service management with experience in quick service or fast food restaurants Proficient in cash handling and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred Knowledge of inventory control, food production, and kitchen management practices Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Ability to train staff effectively in culinary techniques, food safety, and operational procedures Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and restaurant management practices Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices Join us as we strive to create memorable dining experiences for our guests while fostering a supportive environment for our team members.
