Duties Lead and manage the service department team, including service technicians and advisors, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspensions, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs Ensure accurate and detailed service writing and auto estimating to provide transparent communication with customers Drive customer satisfaction by providing expert advice on vehicle repairs and maintenance needs while fostering long-term relationships Implement upselling strategies to increase service sales while maintaining integrity and customer trust Monitor technician productivity and quality standards; facilitate ongoing training to enhance technical skills such as automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge Manage cash handling procedures, invoicing, and administrative tasks related to service operations Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure the workshop is organized and well-maintained Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive auto service management background in a fast-paced automotive environment Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, air brakes, alignments, oil changes, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts Experience working with service technicians on complex repairs such as auto body work or automotive diagnostics Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing processes Ability to upsell services ethically while ensuring customer satisfaction and trust Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures across various systems including air brakes, alignments, suspension components, tire services, etc. Cash handling experience along with strong organizational skills Automotive sales experience is a plus but not required; a passion for automotive repair is essential Join us as a Service Manager where your leadership fuels our success!
