Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, maintaining consistency and quality. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Handle food with proper sanitation practices, ensuring all food safety standards are met or exceeded. Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, giving correct change, and balancing cash registers at shift end. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness of the work area by regularly cleaning counters, utensils, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with sanitation guidelines. Assist with food handling tasks such as stocking ingredients, preparing toppings, and ensuring freshness of all products. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining an organized dining environment for guests. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality or speed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Prior experience in food preparation or working in quick service & fast-food restaurants is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Kitchen or café experience is advantageous; experience in retail grocery stores or the food industry is beneficial. Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
