SAT/ACT Test Prep Instructor

SAT/ACT Tutor Curvebreakers Test Prep is seeking experienced and highly skilled individuals to join our elite team of Tutors. We are looking for candidates with tutoring experience, but due to our extensive training and development program, will consider all applicants.

Our Tutors enjoy flexible scheduling, a competitive pay rate starting at $40-60 per hour, and the creative freedom to teach in ways that are meaningful and impactful to their students' unique academic needs. As part of our team, you'll receive paid one-on-one training, and administrative support from our dedicated office staff. Several of our part-time tutors have transitioned to full-time positions due to the continuous expansion of our company, and we anticipate continued growth and opportunities.

Requirements:

A deep understanding of SAT/ACT test strategies and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs. Reliable transportation to our office in Garden City, NY. Ability to commit at least 15 hours a week to working with students.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing high-level SAT/ACT tutoring and teaching students. Organizing and maintaining a tutoring schedule with assistance from our office staff. Reporting on all tutoring sessions in a timely manner. Maintaining open communication with active clients and office staff. Maintaining a professional demeanor with students and parents.
