This individual will be responsible for accurately weighing vehicles and materials, maintaining records, and supporting site operations. The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, is able to perform basic math, computer proficiency, communication skills, and is able to commit to safety procedures. Pay, Schedule, and Location $18-$20/hour pay rate Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Monday-Friday 7AM-5PM plus some Saturdays Located in Orange, Texas Duties and Responsibilities Operate truck/rail scales to weigh inbound and outbound loads accurately Record weights and transactions using computers, logbooks, or scale software Issue weight tickets and verify load information (material type, origin, destination) Communicate with drivers to direct traffic and ensure proper scale use Verify documentation (manifests, bills of lading, permits) Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and regulatory requirements Reconcile daily totals and prepare reports for supervisors or accounting Monitor traffic flow around the scalehouse to prevent congestion or accidents Enforce site rules (PPE, speed limits, procedures) Report equipment issues and perform basic scale checks or calibrations as required Answer questions from drivers, customers, and vendors Provide courteous service while resolving minor issues or discrepancies Coordinate with yard, dispatch, or operations teams Assist with inventory tracking of materials weighed Requirements and Qualifications Attention to detail Able to perform basic math Computer proficiency Communication skills Able to commit to safety procedures — (Salary range based on experience) —
