School Age Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. The postion would be for our new school age program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with children in a daycare setting. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with childhood development standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity among children. Provide individualized attention to students, including those with special needs or disabilities. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities. Skills Experience working with students in a daycare setting is essential. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Knowledge of infant care practices is preferred. Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs. Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning environment. Excellent communication skills for educating both children and parents. A nurturing attitude towards children, fostering their growth and independence in a supportive manner. Creativity in developing engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles within the classroom.
