Job Description
Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, where you'll be instrumental in supporting student growth and development in an educational setting. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll work closely with students and collaborate with educational teams to help learners overcome challenges, meet their IEP goals, and thrive within the school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred Knowledge of IEP implementation and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, therapists, and families Ability to balance multiple student caseloads, set priorities, and adapt to school schedulesResponsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Assist with assessments, goal-setting, and development of therapy plans tailored to each student's needs Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings and reports Support students in developing fine motor, self-care, and classroom participation skills Collaborate with teachers and staff to create accessible learning environments and adapt activities as neededBenefits:
