Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Bring your LPN skills to a dynamic educational setting where you'll play a key role in supporting student health and wellness. This contract opportunity places you in a collaborative school environment near Morton, PA, providing essential care and fostering a safe atmosphere for learning. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality nursing care to students and staff, working closely with educators, and making a meaningful difference every day.
Desired Qualifications:
Active LPN license in the state Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting is preferred Current CPR certification Strong communication and organizational abilities Compassionate, child-focused approach Ability to respond promptly and calmly to medical emergencies
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with school policies Assess and address minor injuries and illnesses that occur during the school day Maintain accurate health records and immunization documentation Collaborate with faculty and parents to support students' overall well-being Educate staff and students on health, hygiene, and safety practices Ensure compliance with all relevant state and school health regulations This position provides you with the chance to work regular school hours with weekends and holidays off.
