What You'll Bring:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification is required Previous experience in early childhood or elementary special education preferred Proficiency in developing and writing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and QPRs (Quarterly Progress Reports) Skilled at crafting and adapting engaging lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with colleagues, students, and families Passion for fostering a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and support to young students with varying needs Develop, document, and update IEPs and QPRs in compliance with regulatory standards Design creative, goal-oriented lesson plans tailored to students' abilities Monitor and celebrate student progress through regular assessments and reports Work collaboratively with classroom staff and related service personnel Engage positively with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child's growth This contract, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) allows you to make a lasting difference while working in classrooms where your skills are highly valued.
