Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young children while working alongside a supportive education community. A contract opportunity is now available for a Physical Therapist skilled in school-based and early intervention services. This position primarily involves working with children in early intervention programs, including in-home visits and some Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) consulting, with a focus on serving families and students across Douglas County and the Roseburg area.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Prior experience in school-based or early intervention pediatric settings Strong understanding of early childhood development and therapy best practices Ability to work independently while also collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Comfortable providing services in home and community settings Willingness to travel within the assigned region (mileage reimbursement provided) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with families and educators
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering in-home PT services to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers as part of a dynamic early intervention program Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and tracking progress Collaborating with families, educators, and other service providers to support students' goals Limited consulting for ECSE programs as needed Maintaining accurate records and reporting in accordance with program requirements Engaging in ongoing professional development to provide up-to-date, evidence-based care
