Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs in an educational setting. This sought-after position offers the unique chance to cover two FMLA leaves with a blend of early intervention and early childhood special education assignments. The role begins in late July and extends through January, offering 40-hour work weeks and diverse, impactful experiences. The first assignment focuses on Early Intervention services from July through October, primarily serving homebound students in collaboration with another experienced therapist. Your second assignment transitions to working with early childhood special education students from November through January, providing services at various learning centers, primarily in the Roseburg area with occasional travel within Douglas County.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision Valid state licensure or ability to obtain before start date Prior experience in schools, early intervention, or early childhood special education preferred Comfort delivering services both in home-bound settings and classroom environments Strong collaborative and communication skills
