Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early intervention in Douglas County. You'll work closely with families and young children, primarily serving the Roseburg area with occasional travel to surrounding communities. This role is ideal for a skilled OT passionate about making a real difference in the foundational years of childhood development.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with credentials to practice in Oregon Previous experience in school-based or early intervention settings preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric therapeutic techniques and sensory integration Comfortable providing services in home environments and adapting therapy to diverse family needs Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams Reliable transportation for travel within
Douglas County Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to infants and young children by visiting homes for early intervention sessions Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique strengths and needs Communicate progress and strategies to families and early childhood education staff Collaborate with educators, specialists, and community resources to optimize developmental outcomes Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress Participate in team meetings, IEP/IFSP development, and professional development opportunities This full-time contract position requires a 40-hour workweek and is available for immediate start, continuing through June 2027.
