Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact by supporting K-12 students as a school-based Physical Therapist in an engaging contract opportunity. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to work across multiple school sites, making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents in a vibrant educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active South Carolina PT license required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and support staff Skilled in managing a varied caseload in an itinerant role Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Primary Duties:
Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to K-12 students across multiple schools, adapted to individual needs and educational goals Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on student mobility, access, and functional school participation Consult and partner with teachers, family members, and other specialists to reinforce therapy goals and optimal learning outcomes Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, progress, and outcomes Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
