Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing essential physical therapy services to a medically fragile, bed-bound middle school student. Located in Haverford, Pennsylvania, this contract-based opportunity offers an exceptional way to provide ongoing care within a supportive educational environment. Bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants are strongly preferred to help foster effective communication with the student's family. However, non-bilingual providers are also encouraged to apply, as language support may be arranged if necessary.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania Experience in a school-based or healthcare setting, preferably working with complex medical needs Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English highly preferred; strong cultural competence is essential Demonstrated commitment to consistent, long-term care relationships Compassionate and patient-centered approach, with the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Willingness to commit to a long-term, stable schedule
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized, direct physical therapy services to a bed-bound student in a cooperative school setting (2.5 hours per week initially) Develop and execute treatment plans based on the unique needs of the student Maintain clear, professional communication with caregivers, educators, and related service providers Contribute to an interdisciplinary team (SLP, OT, PT), supporting a holistic approach to the student's well-being Adjust interventions as needed to accommodate changing medical and educational needs
