School-Based Registered Nurse (RN)

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current and active RN license Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Ability to manage health records and administer medications as prescribed Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills Adaptable and quick-thinking to respond to acute health needs Collaborative spirit to work alongside educators and other health professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to students and staff with acute or chronic health conditions Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs Administer medications, first aid, and emergency interventions as required Monitor and maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and federal regulations Educate students, families, and staff on health and wellness topics Serve as a resource for health-related concerns within the school community Liaise with local healthcare providers and parents to coordinate care as needed
