Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students across all grade levels, from early childhood through high school, for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. You'll provide critical speech-language services within a supportive educational setting, focusing primarily on early childhood and elementary students while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success. This full-time role offers a consistent Tuesday-Friday schedule, with 35 hours per week and 8.75-hour workdays, allowing you to maintain work-life balance. With a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through individualized interventions and ongoing progress monitoring.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent advanced degree) Active or eligibility for state licensure/certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Open to both seasoned Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFY) Previous experience working in school settings is preferred, but not required Excellent communication and organization skills Passion for helping students reach their communication milestones
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse student population Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' individual needs Provide both direct and consultative services in inclusive classroom settings and small groups Maintain accurate records and collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision (where applicable for CFY) This position enables you to be part of a positive, inclusive school environment near Greenville, MO, working closely with students and colleagues in a collaborative setting.
