Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution Current, valid licensure as a school social worker Prior experience providing social work services in a school setting Knowledge of child development, crisis intervention, and behavioral management strategies Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans Provide counseling services, both one-on-one and in group settings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and outside agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each student Participate in IEP meetings and help develop strategies for students with special needs Serve as a resource for staff regarding best practices for classroom management and student engagement Facilitate communication between school and home to support student well-being
