Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners through speech and language therapy in the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year! This contract opportunity offers two full-time positions, each serving dynamic elementary school populations. The assignment runs from August 20 through May 28, spanning the full school year and providing meaningful, consistent work with a manageable schedule of 37.5 hours per week. One assignment is based exclusively at Inspiration Elementary, while the other position involves delivering services at both Burkman Valley Elementary and Brandon Elementary—perfect for professionals who value variety and building relationships across different student communities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines Conduct initial assessments, re-evaluations, and participate in eligibility determinations Assemble and maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers to support inclusive practices Participate fully in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
