Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students. Two full-time positions are available, each offering a 37.5-hour work week supporting an engaging elementary caseload across one to two locations. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working in school settings preferred, particularly with elementary-grade students Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to create and adapt individualized treatment plans for varying student needs Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students on your caseload Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions, adapting techniques to student needs Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary Consult regularly with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and school policies In this role, you will be part of a vibrant school community where your voice and expertise are valued.
