Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students and families as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This unique opportunity encompasses two vital assignments, offering diverse experiences and the chance to make a significant impact in early intervention and early childhood special education.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience with school-based services, particularly with young children Ability to collaborate with other SLPs and multidisciplinary team members Strong communication skills with families, caregivers, and educational staff Flexibility to travel throughout the local area as needed for home visits and center-based settings
Responsibilities:
July through
October:
Deliver early intervention services to infants and toddlers in a primarily home-based model, working alongside another skilled therapist November through
January:
Provide speech and language support at learning centers, focusing on preschool-aged children within ECSE programs across the area Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans Engage and coach families, ensuring collaboration in the therapeutic process Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and state requirements Attend team meetings, transition planning, and support child progress reviews
