Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding occupational therapy role supporting early intervention services in a dynamic contract position. This opportunity spans a diverse caseload, primarily focused on home-based visits across the Roseburg area and various parts of Douglas County. Working 40 hours per week, you'll collaborate with families and young learners to help foster critical developmental milestones. This contract runs through June 11, 2027, providing you with a unique long-term assignment to build meaningful connections and create lasting impact within the community. Immediate start is available, welcoming dedicated professionals ready for an engaging and mobile work environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Oregon, or eligibility to obtain Experience in school-based or early intervention settings highly preferred Strong interpersonal skills to effectively partner with families and guardians in home-based environments Ability to independently manage a flexible, travel-oriented schedule within the assigned region Familiarity with assessment tools and intervention strategies tailored for early childhood development
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for young children in early intervention programs Deliver occupational therapy services by "pushing in" to homes and collaborating closely with families and care teams Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions for optimal outcomes Provide consultative support and training for parents, caregivers, and educational personnel Travel between service locations within Douglas County, primarily based around
