Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students' communication and academic success within the Washington DC area, just south of the city. This position is ideal for professionals with expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, eager to make a difference across elementary, middle, or high school environments. With a contract running from early August through the end of May, you'll have the opportunity to work full-time, focusing on diverse student populations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications:
Active Virginia SLP license required Experience providing SLP services in school settings preferred Ability to serve a variety of age groups, from elementary through high school Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ready to initiate the Virginia Department of Social Services check immediately Must provide current TB test results as mandated by
Virginia Position Details:
Full-time (37.5 hours/week) for the full academic year (185 days) On-site only—remote or hybrid arrangements are not available Assignments at various school levels will be determined based on fit and district needs Serve a diverse caseload with opportunities to work across all age groups Support students' IEPs, conduct assessments, deliver direct and indirect therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families
