Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact every day as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a vibrant K-12 school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This rewarding contract opportunity is ideal for passionate professionals seeking to enrich the lives of children and adolescents. Work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team as you assess, diagnose, and provide direct support to students. Both experienced SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply and bring their expertise or enthusiasm for growth.
Key Qualifications:
Active North Carolina SLP License ASHA Certification (or eligibility for Clinical Fellows) Proven ability or willingness to thrive in a K-12 school setting Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience with student screening, testing, diagnosis, and therapy development
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students Conduct screenings and assessments to identify speech and language needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and targeted interventions Consult and collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and families to maximize student progress Maintain thorough documentation to support student outcomes and comply with school and state requirements Provide professional input for multidisciplinary meetings and family conferences This role offers the chance to positively influence students from diverse backgrounds, build lasting professional relationships, and develop your practice in a supportive educational setting.
