School Cleaning

Job Summary Join our dedicated school cleaning team and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the school are spotless, sanitized, and well-maintained. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance Handle waste disposal and recycling to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Assist with light custodial tasks such as window washing, furniture polishing, and minor repairs when necessary Follow health and safety protocols to ensure proper sanitation standards are met at all times Support facilities maintenance activities including industrial cleaning and porter duties as required Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and carpet cleaning is advantageous Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to facilities maintenance Join us in creating a clean, safe, and inviting educational space!
