School Year Number of Positions:
1 Alamo Navajo Community School, a Tribally Controlled School located on the rural Alamo Navajo Reservation, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team. The School Nurse plays a vital role in supporting our students' health and well-being. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care to students daily.
  • Establish and manage a comprehensive School Health Program.
  • Provide health assessments, immunizations, and medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and community health providers to address student health needs.
  • Promote wellness and prevention through health education and crisis intervention.
  • Develop and implement programs for communicable disease prevention and infection control.
  • Serve as a resource for health-related curriculum and staff training.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college, university, or National League of Nursing-accredited diploma program.
  • Valid and current New Mexico Registered Nurse license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Associate School Nurse license as required by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
