1 Alamo Navajo Community School, a Tribally Controlled School located on the rural Alamo Navajo Reservation, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team. The School Nurse plays a vital role in supporting our students' health and well-being. Key Responsibilities- Provide care to students daily.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive School Health Program.
- Provide health assessments, immunizations, and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and community health providers to address student health needs.
- Promote wellness and prevention through health education and crisis intervention.
- Develop and implement programs for communicable disease prevention and infection control.
- Serve as a resource for health-related curriculum and staff training.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college, university, or National League of Nursing-accredited diploma program.
- Valid and current New Mexico Registered Nurse license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Associate School Nurse license as required by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
