Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in a student's life by supporting a medically fragile middle schooler as a contract Occupational Therapist. This specialized opportunity is located just outside Philadelphia and is ideal for a bilingual (Spanish/English) OT, though highly qualified non-bilingual applicants are also encouraged to apply—language interpreter assistance may be available. You'll provide vital, hands-on support in the student's home setting, offering 2.5 hours of direct service per week (with potential for increased hours as the school year progresses). The position begins as soon as possible or at the start of the next school year and is expected to continue throughout the end of the 2027 school year. Your consistency, compassion, and commitment will give the student and their family the stability they need.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania Experience working in schools, home health, and healthcare settings Comfortable and experienced in supporting students with significant medical needs, including those who are bed-bound Ability to communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (SLP, PT, school personnel, families) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English highly preferred Reliability and the desire to form long-term connections with students and families
