Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students to succeed through your expertise in Occupational Therapy! This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting K-12 learners across a district-wide setting. You'll play a key role in enhancing student outcomes by promoting participation, independence, and overall well-being for learners with varied needs.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality OT services to K-12 students in both individual and group formats, adjusting strategies to best fit student requirements. Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans. Assess student abilities, create recommendations, and monitor progress to ensure effective therapy outcomes. Work across multiple school sites within the district, adapting to a variety of classroom environments and learning communities. Complete required documentation, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed. Serve as a resource for staff and parents by providing education and support on strategies that benefit student independence.
Qualifications:
Valid OT license in the state. Experience or strong interest in school-based practice, ideally serving K-12 populations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage time, schedules, and travel between school locations. Commitment for the remainder of the current school year, as well as the following full academic year.
