Key Qualifications:

Hold a current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (or eligibility for licensure) Demonstrated experience in school-based Occupational Therapy preferred Solid knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and reporting Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork and family engagement Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse range of student needs Familiarity with sensory integration, fine and gross motor interventions, and adaptive equipment use

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess student abilities and needs through standardized and informal evaluations Develop and execute individualized goals in collaboration with educators and families Deliver direct and consultative OT services within classroom and individualized settings Support teachers and staff with strategies to promote student access and participation Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings Educate school personnel and families on effective approaches, accommodations, and modifications Encourage student progress towards functional independence and academic success Why Consider This Role?
