Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license for New York State Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Understanding of sensory integration, fine motor, and self-care intervention strategies Excellent communication and organizational abilities Compassion for students who have experienced gaps in support Ability to begin assignment promptly

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct OT services to three students as outlined in their individualized plans Assess needs, develop measurable goals, and document progress Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to support student participation and success Remain flexible and responsive to evolving needs throughout the assignment Ensure compliance with all school and district guidelines Enjoy a specialized caseload that allows you to focus your expertise and care where it's needed most—no large group sessions or overwhelming numbers.
